Blackberry Playbook vs iPad 2?

Hi, I’m in a bit of a conundrum. I’m looking for a tablet to use for college. On the one hand, my brother has an iPad 2 and it really is a great product; just as Apple says with its Mac’s, everything just works. But it doesnt have Flash and it can be a little slow to load pages. But the screen size and ratio is amazing <3. But it may be TOO big for me, I want something a little bit more portable than a laptop.

On the other hand, however, I have a soft spot for the Playbook. I feel like this would be great for me too because; it's MUCH more portable, it's just as solid and reliable as the iPad (says every review I’ve read), and is just all-around a great product. But I feel like this screen is TOO compact and isnt a true tablet. Both products are priced the same, I would probably be picking up a 32GB WiFi version either way. I don’t see myself downloading too many games, as I plan on using this for:

-Web browsing
-Documents/Spreadsheets/Powerpoints
-Maybe a little art when I’m bored
-Video calls
-Movie editing
-General productivity
-Finances
-Music and photos
-output to TVs and such

So…what do you think? BB Playbook or iPad 2?

P.S. I plan on buying an iPad 2 for a friend of mine as a graduation present, so maybe that should sway my choice a little or something?

P.S.S. I have read a rumor saying that Blackberry may be working on a 10″ Playbook to come out before the holidays. Should i wait for that?

Tablet PC with good price?

Kay so I’m interested in Tablet PCs (NOT TABLETS) like Dell XT2 / 3 but it’s sooo damn expensive. Can somebody recommend me the tablet pc with price less than 1200$ and great performance (Maybe a little gaming)

Why is Apple constantly referring to the iPad as “magical”?

Does anyone know exactly what the marketing thought behind calling the iPad “magical and revolutionary” was? I’d be interested to know if that was an internal Apple decision or if they outsourced the marketing and flew it under the Apple banner. I’m just curious why the word “magical” keeps popping up on Apple’s website in relation to the iPad.

Counterfeit iPad can they be anything good? Exactly what does the laws state regarding counterfeit iPad and could I happen to be breaking the law if I purchased a counterfeit iPad. It’s ok, I don’t want to buy a counterfeit iPad. But it must be pricey to be able to build counterfeit iPads how can these people earn any cash? Do individuals who purchase a counterfeit iPad in fact discover it is really counterfeited or do people get tricked?

Sync calendar between iphone & ipad!?

My boss wants to have the calendar on his iphone and the calendar on his ipad to sync…If he adds on iphone, he wants it to show up on ipad. I’m not exactly sure what I’m doing wrong, but I absolutely cannot get it to sync! Can someone please explain how to do this?! I thought I had figured it out last time, but he’s added a few entries thru his phone that is not showing up on his ipad. HeLp PlEaSe!

Why does my iPad keyboard keep disconnecting?

It’s an official Apple keyboard purchased from Apple Store. When I plug my iPhone (and no, it’s not because it’s an iPhone that it’s not working. Same pin connector, same software) into it, around 30 seconds later it just pops up saying “This device is not optimised” or something. If I unplug it and plug it back in, though, it does exactly the same 30 seconds later..

Which Tablet Should I Get?

I need help with choosing a tablet I can get. The three I’m stuck with is between the IPad 2, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I need help picking one of those three tablets. Which one would you recommend and why in regards to the OS and specifications of the three devices. Also two more questions, the first question is if I were to hack the tablets which one would be better and more worth it to hack? The second question is what is the point to hacking the tablets and what are my advantages/benefits to hack an android tablet vs a apple tablet? I prefer more details and explanations so the more details to the answers I get in regards to my questions the better off it’ll be for me.

IPad 2 vs Netbook: Which should I get?

Well, my netbook died, and my life was on their. At first, I was so dead set on getting a new netbook. But then I got to thinking. I don’t really need a new netbook. I have my Mac mini and I use the family Dell to sync my iPhone. So, maybe I should just get an iPad 2! I’ll describe what I do, and you tell me which one you think I should get.
I’m a 13 year old seventh grader. I get all A’s. I use my netbook mainly for word processing and Facebook. I love Apple. They can be stupid at times, but I remember my mom getting the first iPhone. I fell in love with it. Now I have the 3GS. Please don’t tell me not to get the iPad 2 and to get an Android tablet, because I’ve used them. My grandfather has one, as well as a few of my close friends. The battery life is, as I understand, about the same across the two devices (my netbook only lasted 2 hours. It was a pain. I don’t like Dell). The iPad just seems more portable. I like the Motorola Xoom, too, but the screen is too small.
I know I have a habit of going on and on. Sorry. What do you think?

Trouble with Computer tablet?

Okay, so, I got a computer tablet because I wanted to try them out vs. mouse. So, for starters, I bought a genius because it was one of the cheaper and had better reviews than the other cheaper tablets. When I draw, in a drawing program, even if I don’t touch my stylus pen to the screen, and im just holding it like an inch away, it still draws. Is there anyway to fix this? Please help… Its really annoying having to go back and erase all the extra lines it makes and it’s really hard to try and draw.

Should I purchase HP tx2000z tablet?

Hi, I am in delema about computers, I would like to know if the HP tablet is a good computer, have been seeing some mixed reviews about AMD processor, however since its under 1 grand would like to purchase it. I currently have the ideapad from lenovo and its too heavy 6.4lbs, would like to know if HP tablet is lighter, and people who have used tablets if its a lot better for taking notes. Also owners of the HP tx2000 please respond, would like to know how durable and battery life as well as how hot the computer gets with prolonged use.

I’m wanting to get a tablet pc. I think the motorola is really cool but I dont have verizon. I would like to know If there coming out with a wifi only version. The blackberry seems cool to but it’s screen doesn’t seem big enough. Now the iPads ok but I think they will announce a new one by the end of January because that’s when they announced the first one. If they do it will have cameras and be alot better. I would like to know which one you would get and which you like best?

Ipad vs. Laptop. Which is better for me?

I need help figuring out what pc/tablet is good for me i want an Ipad 2 for graphc design and i was wondering if their is anything for manga sketching and 3d animation but i also want the ipad 2 for fun and reading manga watch anime watching videos and listening to music, watching movies and playing games, and watching movies(etc.) i’d get the one with 64gb but if i got a laptop would it be better i’d have to get a pen tablet and graphic design software and virus protection and alot of other softwares which would be a better decision??? for all the things i wanna do..
